About the author

Manfred H. Breede is a professor of printing and bindery processes at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada for the past 20 years. He has published numerous articles in academic journals, professional journals and book chapters. He is the author of both the 1st and the 2nd editions of the book Handbook of Graphic Arts Equations and makes frequent presentations at academic conferences, symposiums and industry forums. In 2002 he was recognized by the readers of the Canadian graphic arts journal PRINTACTION as one of the '50 Most Influential People in the Graphic Arts in Canada'.
